At Rose Dental Associates, we use state of the art infrared laser technology to assist with your dental care.
One laser wavelength can be used instead of a drill to prepare your teeth for fillings. It makes a popping sound and patients say it is much more comfortable and pleasant sounding than drilling.
The same wavelength can also be used to cut soft tissue with less bleeding than a scalpel. It can even be used to help speed up and simplify dental extractions.
The other laser wavelength works differently. It is ideal for relieving muscle spasms, disinfecting periodontal pockets, stopping bleeding, and speeding healing. When used to on your TMJ, it gently warms it up and often provides immediate short-term relief. (For long term relief of TMJ issues, you must also treat the cause of the problem.)
